Lochinvar updates water-heater range

Lochinvar, water heater, DHW

Lochinvar has revamped three of its most popular product ranges to improve performance and safety in operation, while also reducing costs and installation time for contractors. The Knight, Charger and LBF direct gas-fired storage water heaters include a number of new features. They are now also made in Europe, considerably shortening lead times. Full stock levels of these new products are being maintained in the UK.

The Knight and Charger ranges of water heaters have a small storage capacity and very fast recovery times. They are very compact so they can be installed close to where the hot water is needed.

The LBF range offers the same benefits but works with a balanced flue. These water heaters are room sealed to provide safe and reliable operation in a wide range of applications.

A new feature is the addition of thermal flue spillage protection devices to improve safety by shutting of the gas supply if a problem with the flue prevents combustion products being discharged fully.

Gas cocks and drain-valve assemblies are now supplied as standard.

Frost thermostats have been added to some models, and two clean-out openings improve access for maintenance and inspection. Combustion-chamber sight glasses on some models is beneficial for maintenance and fault finding. The control panels on several models have been redesigned to improve usability and give a more modern finish.
