Eaton Electric launches major update to range of wiring accessories

Eaton Electric, wiring accessories

Eaton Electric has rationalised its range of wiring accessories into three new ranges. They are the Premera, Copa and Xtra ranges. The Premera range comprises white moulded-style accessories. The Copa range offers wiring accessories with clip-on decorative plastic and luxury metal fascias. Xtra is a restyled range of metal surface-mounting products.

There are four aspects to the Premera. First are white moulded accessories, next is a modular grid range, third are accessories that operate with Eaton’s xComfort wireless home-automation system, and finally is an IP66-rated range.

Features of Premera accessories include the use of urea-based plastic that provides inherent protection against MRSA, two earth terminals to meet the requirements of the Wiring Regulations and combination heads on terminal screws to accept straight-head and cross-head screwdrivers.

Premera Mix is a complete range of grid-based modular accessories with mounting plates that can accommodate u to 24 modules. Popular plate sizes are supplied complete with a integral mounting frame and earthing facilities. As well as standard switching components and power sockets, the Mix range includes voice and data connectors, as well as radio-frequency switch modules.

The Premera Proof range provides a wide range of permutations based on single- and 2-gang IP66 enclosures.

The popular Copa range has been extended with the addition of new options and the introduction of modular grids up to 24 gang using Premera Mix modules. Also new are Copa Fix accessories which match the appearance of Copa products but with permanently attached front plates that are sometimes preferred in public and commercial buildings.

The Xtra range of surface-mounted metal products has an updated front-panel design that brings them into line with the appearance of the other new products. In addition, Xtra modular solutions are now available in sizes up to 24 gang and benefit from the additional options available in the Premera Mix module range.
