Baxi Commercial’s online BIM libraries

Baxi Commercial, BIM, boiler, DHW, CHP

Baxi Commercial Division has launched its BIM (building information modelling) libraries that provide data-enriched 3D models for products and solutions in its extensive portfolio. The libraries enable engineers to select and retrieve product requirements and import models directly into BIM projects.

As well as dimensions, pipe connections and plant, this digital medium attaches product attributes such as outputs, efficiencies, weights and dimensions — in fact all the information necessary to enable a full virtual plant room ‘walk through’.

These BIM models also support the commissioning process and vastly simplify ongoing maintenance and facilities management.

The diagram shows how much clearance is required round an item of equipment. The library can be accessed using the link below.
