Aquatech updates its pressurisation range

Aquapack’s AP Series pressurisation unit is designed to maintain a minimum set pressure in a sealed heating or chilled-water system. If the system pressure falls below the cold-fill pressure, the unit operates automatically to restore pressure. If high- or low-pressure conditions occur, the operation of the boiler or chiller can be interrupted via the volt-free contacts provided. The AP range replaces Aquatech ET units and Pressmain AF units.

AP units are available in twin-pump form with micro-processor control for installing on a wall or floor.

There are two versions for cold-fill pressures up to 3 bar and also 7 bar. Twin pumps provide duty and standby, and the integral tank provides Category 5 protection against backflow and back pressure.

The 2020Plus control system provides a visual display of status and a full BMS interface as standard.

Other features include pump run and trip indication with hand/off/auto facility, protection against the pump seizing, high and low break tank level and system leak-detection alarm.
