S&P formalises S&P

S&P, Soler & Palau

Ventilation specialist Soler & Palau has changed its name to S&P, an abbreviation by which it is already known to many. The change of name has been applied to all the group’s companies and the products sold in the 80 countries where S&P trades. It is accompanied by a new logo.

Alasdair Howie, UK marketing manager, says, ‘As a leading global manufacturer of specialist fan and air-moving products, it’s important that our brand translates and is instantly recognisable across many countries, cultures and languages. Changing to S&P helps to achieve this, while also formalising a name that is already widely in use.

‘On a lighter note, it should also prevent the occasional confusion with solar panels or pilau rice that we get at exhibitions — so less is more in many different ways!’
