Free CIBSE membership for engineering students

CIBSE is offering free student membership to full-time engineering students for the duration of their course and discounted membership (£33 a year) for those studying engineering part time. This will enable aspiring engineering students to become involved in the life of the institution and take advantages of valuable services for career and professional development.

Student members can access the full range of publications from the Knowledge Portal, including the Student Databook tool for academic study, newsletters regarding industry legislation, news and events.

There are also opportunities to meet other young professionals and students in the industry. They include the young engineers network and regional centres that aim to provide a forum and support for young engineers more locally.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
