The easy route to project partnership contracts

A web site aimed at simplifying project partnership contracts has been developed by the Association of Consultant Architects. It is targeted at constructors, consultants and specialists and presents contractual material in an accessible and user-friendly way. It also offers facts and guidance on using the association’s partnering contracts, as well as providing tasters, case studies, answers to common questions and other free downloads. Fiona Griffiths, ACA’s secretary general says, ‘Our market testing of the web site confirmed what contract users wanted. As a result, we have explained out partnership options in an engaging way which makes the process easy to understand without boring the audience.’ Users of the PPC2000 web site can also learn about the companion contract for specialists (SPC2000) and the guide to effective partnering. A whole section of the web site is dedicated to TPC2005, the ACA’s new multi-party contract for term partnering.
