Thermoscreens advances air-curtain design

Thermoscreens’ HX range of air curtains features EcoPower air technology and optional weather compensation. EcoPower air technology provides improved air velocity, uniformity and high levels of energy effectiveness by combining three design features.

A built-in pressure chamber allows even distribution across the entire width of the air curtain. A converging nozzle increases velocity and improves the air stream and product performance. A active circular grille creates a constant, powerful and effective air stream.

Tests to ISO 27237-1 have shown a uniformity of 90%, compared with 40 to 60% for standard air curtains.

The HX range is available in direct electric or water versions. Water versions can be used with flow/return temperatures of 82/71°C or with lower temperatures of 60/40 or 45/35°C for use with condensing boilers or heat pumps.
