Clivet chillers designed for part-load efficiency

Clivet’s Spinchiller2 third-generation air-cooled liquid chiller is designed to maximise efficiency at part load, recognising that HVAC plant operates at full load for less than 5% of the time. The latest range has cooling capacities from 240 to 665 kW and combines A class efficiency at full load with best performance at part load.

Features include multiple scroll compressors on the same circuit, electronic expansion valves and a high-efficiency plate evaporator.

The Ecobreeze fans have electronically controlled motors with permanent magnets, helping to achieve an ESEER of 4.5 with a constant supply temperature and up to 5.3 with variable supply temperature and constant return temperature.

There are two versions, Excellence and Premium — indicating efficiency. These chillers are suitable for many applications — including fan coils, air-handling units, radiant energy distribution and chilled beams. Energy can be recovered to produce domestic hot water.
