Lowara products cut costs and space in hydronic plant rooms
A reduction of up to a third in installation costs for hydronic pumping systems is claimed by Lowara using its triple-duty valve and suction diffuser. Designed to perform all the functions normally required on the discharge side of an hydronic pumping system, the triple-duty valve replaces three separate valves — non-return, isolation and commissioning.
The triple-duty valve also requires significantly shorter lengths of discharge pipe, reducing the space needed in plant rooms.
The non-slam check valve is engineered for positive shut-off to eliminate water hammer and valve chatter. The valve has a calibrated nameplate and memory button so it returns to the balanced position.
The suction diffuser is an angle-pattern flow-straightening fitting that can provide ideal flow conditions for pump suction. It combines a diffuser strainer, orifice cylinder and full-length straightening vanes in a small footprint.
