Marco achieves Cat 6 compliance for Apollo range of trunking

Marco Cable Management, cable trunking, Cat 6, data cabling

Marco has introduced an accessory that enables users of its Apollo trunking range to comply with Cat 6 requirements for data cabling. The new ‘data guides’ are prefabricated into the base of flat angles and tees and plastic welded into place before despatch. For external and internal angles, the guide is clipped into the base of the trunking, cables positioned and the cover placed into position. These simple adaptations achieve the correct bend radius to meet Cat 6 compliance.

The system has been used for a new school development, The Grange in Runcorn., for which Emcor specified Marco’s Apollo trunking, which has been used with the ‘data guides’ throughout the building.
