Hand-held tool for straightening tubes

Kwix UK, pipe straightening, straightener

Kwix UK has designed and patented an efficient hand-held tool for straightening coiled tubes. The idea came to company founder Matthew Murphy when he was working on a heating system five years ago and noted that the tube was not fitting through holes properly because it was twisted. The device will straighten light-walled coiled tube such as copper, aluminium, stainless steel and brass.

The tool can also be used to guide a felt pen to create a reference line along the length of the tube to help keep a series of bends in line. It weighs just 500 g.
