Durapipe provides care for Berkshire hospital

Durapipe, pipework, plastic

Durapipe’s HTA pipework has been installed in a physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic at Upton Hospital, Slough, to deliver hot and cold water from three new boiler houses to existing sanitary ware in three wings of the hospital. It has been installed in sizes from 20 to 40 mm.

The work was carried out by SSE Contracting of Farnborough. This pipework has excellent resistance to corrosion and limescale, avoiding costly maintenance and replacement work. Installation benefits include light weight and quick and simple cold-welding jointing — avoiding the need for hot works.
