High-speed cleaning for boiler and chiller systems

Sentinel Commercial, flushing, pipework, heating, cooling

Sentinel Commercial’s Senticlene 8500 heating-system cleaners is ideal for one-day cleaning projects and for circumstances that require immediate, unplanned cleaning — such as before a new boiler or chiller is installed. This cleaning solution has been developed specifically for commercial heating and closed cooling solutions.

Senticlene 8500 is formulated to deliver a powerful, penetrating action for removing iron-oxide and calcium-based deposits from the whole circuit — including boilers, heat exchangers, radiators and pipes. It contains inhibitors to protect metal surfaces from corrosion during cleaning.

The composition of Senticlene 8500 enables it to perform under neutral pH conditions, eliminating the need to clean with conventional acids and their associated complications.

The system pump can be used to circulate the cleaning solution, although dedicated equipment capable of rapid circulation is likely to produce a more effective clean.

After cleaning, draining and flushing, the system should then be dosed with Sentinel X100 inhibitor for long-term system protection.
