BRE A+ for Kingspan Tarec pipe insulation
Kingspan Tarec’s Kooltherm pipe insulation has received an A+ rating in the BRE Green Guide, enabling it to contribute to the award of several BREEAM credits.
The Mat 04 section of BREEAM 2011 offers two credits for insulation products. A+ products are awarded three points for embodied impact.
There is also a credit for responsible sourcing if 80% of insulation products used in the roofs, wall, floors and services of a building are responsibly sourced.
