Vaillant heat pump can be teamed with boilers

Vaillant’s aroTHERM range of air-to-water heat pumps comes with two outputs — 8 and 11 kW with water off at 35° and ambient air at 7°C. They have a sealed refrigerant circuit. System kits and accessories include a back-up heater, wall-hung 40 l buffer tank and a heat-exchange module.

These heat pumps can work standalone or be integrated into a hybrid system — and they are compatible with the entire range of Vaillant’s ecoTEC boilers linked using a low-voltage eBUS connection.

They are also compatible with a wide range of other manufacturers’ gas, LPG and oil boilers. The control unit selects the most cost-effective fuel based on energy tariffs.
