Achilles Accreditation boost for Castle

Castle Building Services
Registration success — Bill Ramage of Castle Building Services.

Castle Building Services has achieved Achilles BuildingConfidence Level 5 accreditation on the first attempt. Launched in 2007 in collaboration with contractor Lend Lease, Achilles BuildingConfidence is an online registration and accreditation standard used by 17 buyer organisations and over 1500 suppliers in the UK construction industry.

The accreditation followed a 2-day intensive audit and demonstrates this contractor’s exacting standards of health-and-safety related matters already in place.

Castle’s compliance manager Bill Ramage said, ‘We are delighted to have passed such a rigorous process to gain this Level 5 accreditation, particularly at our first attempt. We invest a significant amount of time and money to ensure a safe working environment, not only for our own operatives but also for sub-contractors and those of our project partners on site.’
