Water heater can also provide space heating
Lochinvar’s EcoCharger range of gas-fired condensing water heaters comprises seven models with integral storage from 220 to 488 l. They have recovery rates from 540 to 2100 l/h through a 50 K temperature rise. Standard features include a fully modulating pre-mix burner for natural gas or LPG and multiple flue options — balanced and conventional.
Their installation flexibility makes them suitable for replacement projects. They are also suitable for unvented mains feed or boosted-hot-water systems.
The Heatpak option enables the EcoCharger to supply up to 40 kW for space heating, a useful feature for sports-changing facilities, for example, where hot-water demand is greater than the requirement for space heating.
There is also the option for a BMS interface to provide extensive performance data.
