Rinnai races to the rescue with WTG
Rinnai continuous-flow water heaters have been used by WTG Heating Engineering to create trailer-mounted solutions to provide an emergency service for a variety of sites — including schools, care homes and large apartments blocks. Jennie Marlow, director of WTG, says, ‘Other companies providing emergency heating and hot-water solutions tend to use large units that need craning in. Our compact trailers from Ivor Williams can get where they can’t.’
A recent project was emergency hot-water system for an apartment building at Porchester Gate in central London to supply 4800 l/h. This unit has four Rinnai 70Es water heaters and is part of WTG’s fleet.
The unit also responded to the breakdown of the heating and hot-water system in Bickenhall Mansions in Baker Street, London.
WTG has been called in to help Hertfordshire County Council on a number of occasions. One was taking a trailer to Hertford Boys Grammar School and also hanging a Rinnai heater on an outside wall with a bottle of LPG to keep the kitchen supplied with hot water.
