Castle Building Services, based in Hebburn, has announced its largest single contract win to date. The £29 million office development in Glasgow is believed to be the largest speculative development currently underway outside of London. The 12-storey St Vincent’s Plaza is designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating with a B Energy Performance Certificate.

The 16 000 m2 building will provide office accommodation for Abstract (Glasgow) Ltd.

Castle Building Services will provide a complete range of M&E services and make extensive use of 3D modelling to ensure that the co-ordination of services is right first time.

The contract was awarded by contractor Bowmer & Kirkland, with which Castle has worked previously, including a fit-out for NPower at Raintan Bridge.
