Significant boost in Green Deal activity

The Green Deal Finance Company reported recently [early September] that there were 5100 live plans moving through the system — an increase of 120% since April. There are now 56 live Green Deal providers. A further five were about to be cleared to offer Green Deal plans, and a further 17 were actively progressing applications.

Mark Bayley, chief executive of the Green Deal Finance Company, commented, ‘The steady growth in the level of plan applications and ever-expanding number of firms wanting to offer Green Deal plans is further evidence of the step change now taking place in Green Deal activity.’
