Lighting that reflects Puma’s branding

Matching the branding of sports lifestyle brand Puma is the lighting in the breakout space based on Spectral Blade LED.

Lighting for the breakout space on the top floor of Sea Containers House in London, which is now the headquarters of Puma, is designed to provide a fun, comfortable and warm experience. It is based on Spectral Lighting’s Blade LED was specified by design firm M. Moser Associates to meet this unusual challenge.

Jose Mercado, associate at M. Moser Associates, explains, ‘We wanted to find a way of extending the elements of the Puma identity into the lighting scheme. To do this, we chose Spectral Blade LED in red, black and grey. Not only have the panels added a striking visual element, but at the same time Blade offers acoustic benefits and, being LED, saves energy.

Available in a range of RAL colours and finishes, Blade is made from a sound-reflective material. The luminaire version blends in with matching acoustic panels and removes any concerns of shadowing in the lighting design.
