Elco launches range of air-source heat pumps

Elco, heat pump, space heating

Elco’s Aeropur air-source heat pumps offers COPs of up to 4.3 and are accredited under the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme). These heat pumps are available with four outputs (6, 8, 12 and 15 kW). The refrigeration cycle can be reversed to provide cooling.

Capable of operating up to 3 bar, these monobloc units require a single-phase power supply and have a modulating inverter-driven compressor. Each model has a built-in pump, safety valve and expansion vessel. The refrigerant is R410A.

Flow temperatures of up to 60°C can be delivered, making these heat pumps suitable for use with radiators.
