Distinctive modern styling and a host of useful features characterise Honeywell’s SmartAct direct-coupled actuator.

Features of a new direct-coupled actuator from Honeywell include self-centring shaft adapter ‘for plug-and-play’ installation, ability to mount in any direction, detachable wiring box for easy connection, rotation direction switch and position indicator. SmartAct actuators can replace most types of existing actuator. They can be used for operating air dampers, air handlers, ventilation flaps, louvres and VAV units. Installation is simplified by a declutch button, which allows easy manual adjustment, and single-handed positioning of the mechanical limits for the rotation angle. hvacproductsuk@honeywell.com
