Mikrofill heats new school buildings

New buildings at Newport Girls’ High School in Shropshire have their heating requirements met by two Ethos boilers from Mikrofill. The extension to the school includes classrooms, multi-purpose sports hall/assembly room and changing facilities.

The boilers were installed by mechanical contractor Dodd Group of Telford. There are two Ethos FS 350 kW stainless-steel condensing boilers (pictured) with dual-burner technology and a turndown ratio of 20:1. They have a seasonal efficiency of 96%.

Also installed was a Mikrofill pressurisation package, electronic filling device (EFD), expansion vessel and service isolation drain valve.The boilers provide heating for the new extension and parts of the original building
