Guide to LEDs

With light-emitting diodes (LEDs) rapidly gaining popularity in architectural lighting schemes, BSRIA has published a guide giving their main performance characteristics so that lighting designers, specifiers, installers and building users can better understand the opportunities they provide. The application of LEDs has increased following recent research focused on increasing light output, improving luminous efficacy and enhancing colour quality.
