Daikin UK publishes ecodesign guidance

Daikin UK has published guidance on the EU ecodesign rules and energy labelling for space and water heaters to shed light on the impending minimum energy-efficiency requirements for Lot 1 and Lot 2 under the ecodesign framework and the extended energy-labelling obligations.

The guidance is designed to help installers and merchants understand the new rules, which cover renewable heat pumps and fossil fuel systems and apply minimum seasonal energy-efficiency requirements and maximum noise levels to products with capacities up to and including 400 kW. The guidance also explains the energy-labelling regulations of heating products with capacities up to and including 70 kW.
