Combined isolation valve and strainer

Marflow Hydronics, strainer, isolation valve

Marflow Hydronics’ Filterball is a compact combined isolation valve and strainer that is purpose designed for easy access for cleaning and maintenance. The built-in strainer eliminates the need for the separate isolating valves that are required either side of a traditional Y strainer, saving time and cost.

If strainers are not properly maintained, water quality can decline.

Nick Martin, technical manager, says, ‘Our Filterball has been designed deliberately to that many of the issues associated with water quality can be more readily overcome. They introduce very little air into the system and can be easily accessed and operated.’
