Socket strainers for plastics pipes

Strainers with socket ends in sizes up to 63 mm in ABS and Corzan are now available from Durapipe.

Sediment strainers with socket union ends are now available as part of the Durapipe ABS and Corzan ranges. They complement existing versions in PVC-U, in grey or clear bodies, and polypropylene. A filter screen mechanism removes solid impurities from moving liquids. Socket union ends enable sediment strainers to be changed easily. The strainer can be replaced simply by unscrewing the end cap and replacing it. Sizes range from 20 to 63 mm, and they are pressure rated at 16 bar. All Durapipe ABS fittings are suitable for applications down to -40°C. Crozan is suitable for high-temperature chemicals up to 100°C. enquiries@durapipe.co.uk
