Ideal Commercial Boilers enlarges Vanguard range

Ideal Commercial Boilers has added seven larger units to its Vanguard L pressure-jet range of boilers to increase output options up to 7000 kW. The previous maximum output was 3500 kW. The Vanguard L range is of steel-shell and tube construction as a single-piece boiler.

Among features to optimise efficiency is reverse-flame construction to ensure full combustion and cleaner flue gases. The large combustion chamber is in the lower half of the heat exchanger, resulting in heat-transfer efficiency of up to 92.5%. The output-to-size ratio is improved by increasing the number of flueways in the hottest area of the heat exchanger, all made using thicker steel for maximum effect.

The standard range offers a maximum working pressure of 6 bar; for added flexibility, higher working pressures are available on request.
