Daikin UK launches low-profile VRV outdoor unit

Daikin UK claims that its Mini VRV IV S-series outdoor unit is the shortest on the market, with a height of just 82 cm — enabling it to be placed behind low walls or concealed on balconies. Operating costs are up to 28% less compared to the previous VRV series.

Available in single-phase 4 and 5 hp units, the standard ranges of 4-5-6 hp units (in single or 3-phase) have also been updated from VRV III to VRV IV models. There is also a new range of 8-10-12 3-phase units.

Long piping lengths enable these units to be positioned away from the building they serve. VRV IV technology can be connected to air-handling units, air curtains and residential indoor units.
