Mikrofill updates boilers at Telford police station

Mikrofill, space heating, boiler, hot water, DHW

Six Mikrofill 130 kW condensing boilers that can each modulate down to 10% of full load have replaced aging heating plant at Malinsgate Police Station in Telford of West Mercia Police. These stainless-steel boilers were installed with a Mikrovent low-loss header/air and dirt separator, a pre-commissioned Mikrofill pressurisation package and a modular frame kit.

All services were maintained during the 6-week project thanks to the phased design programme by services consultant ESDP and the efforts of mechanical installer Lord Combustion services.

The new equipment serves constant-temperature and variable-temperature systems with a mixture of radiators, fan convectors and air-handling units. There is also a DHW circuit.
