Ducted air-conditioning systems

Lennox’s Aircoolair range of ducted air-conditioning systems now extends up to 140 kW of cooling
Lennox has extended its unitary range of Aircoolair and Flatair ducted air-conditioning systems. Aircoolair has been extended from 95 to 140 kW for the cooling -only and heat-pump versions. This range of free-standing indoor centrifugal fan units has maximum airflows from 5100 to 10 200 m3/h. Two indoor units can be combined with one outdoor condensing unit to give tremendous flexibility in plant sizing up to 17 500 m3/h. Optional extras for Aircoolair include a long-distance kit up to 65 m, high-pressure kits for 120 and 250 Pa and extra control options on the Climatic 50. Flatair is a free-standing centrifugal fan unit with ductable airflow on the evaporator and condensing unit. An important design feature is the floating mount arrangement for the fans to prevent vibration transmission to the duct. They are available with static pressures of 90 to 160 Pa for the outdoor unit and 110 to 240 Pa for the indoor unit. Flatair is available in split or stand-alone versions, and various combinations of air intake and distribution are possible. Maximum airflow ranges from 2350 to 6000 m3/h. Heat-pump and cooling-only versions are available. www.lennoxeurope.com
