Oventrop valves contribute to animal welfare

Raystede Centre
As part of the upgrade and site rationalisation at The Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, this new building is equipped throughout with Oventrop valves for heating control.
The control of the heating system in a new building at The Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare in Sussex is provided by a wide range of Oventrop valves. The boiler room in this new building has two gas-fired condensing boilers, twin-head circulating pumps and distribution pipework. The circuits incorporate Oventrop double-regulating valves, commissioning sets and isolating valves. Traditional radiators and spiral-gilled heaters, all controlled with Oventrop TRV/lockshield combinations, are strategically located throughout the building. The gilled heaters in the animal quarters are located behind stainless-steel panels for safety. The new building includes kennels, a cattery and surgery. Six aviaries were scattered around the site, and these have been concentrated into two new aviary suites.
