Testo expands into electrical measurement

Testo, instruments, electricity, electrical

Testo, which specialises in measurement technology, especially in the HVAC sector, is entering a new market sector with the launch of a range of electrical measuring instruments. By looking very carefully at how electrical contractors work and their specific needs, the company has developed a range of electrical measuring instruments that it says offers genuine innovation.

The range comprises five product families, with a total of 12 products

There are three digital multi-meters. They automatically recognise the measurement parameters by socket use. Function buttons, rather than the usual rotary dial, make for safer operation.

Clamp meters come in three models and have a fully retractable clamp mechanism that enables current cables to be grabbed precisely.

Two current-voltage testers fulfil the newest voltage tester standard and select measurement parameters automatically and without the danger of confusion.

There are three voltage testers, all equipped with an all-round LED display that can be read from any position.

Finally, there is a non-contact voltage tester with a filter for high-frequency interference.
