Twin-head pumps feature extremely low power consumption

Biral
Featuring inverter control and a power consumption of just 50 K to serve heating systems of 1000 kW — the Biral P range of pumps.
Biral’s twin-head P range of pumps have a power consumption of less than 50 W but can serve a 1000 kW heating system with a ?t of 20 K. They qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances. These pumps are available from Hamworthy in four sizes from 40 to 65 mm bore. They have built-in inverters and feature synchronous motors with permanent magnets constructed of Neodyminium, reducing the power requirement. P range pumps have class H motor windings for longer life, wear-resistant bearings for silent operation, rotation indicator and slotted flanges for PN6/PN16 application. These pumps are despatched with a default setting below the maximum capability to allow the variable-speed drive to function if circuit resistance is lower than anticipated or designed. LXP and HXP models can also be controlled by a 0 to 10 V or 0 to 20 A bus communications system.
