Ferroli gives a lesson in space-saving boilers

Ferroli
Replacing seven life-expired boilers at Wigan & Leigh College are two space-saving GN 4N cast-iron boilers from Ferroli.
Because Ferroli holds all sections for its GN range of cast-iron boilers in the UK, it was possible to make and deliver two large boilers for Wigan & Leigh College very quickly. These two boilers each have an output of 590 kW, and they have replaced seven life-expired boilers. Given the restricted space in the plant room, the compact design of these high-efficiency GN 4N boilers and cleaning and servicing from the front were important benefits. Each boiler for this project comprises 12 sections, and they were installed by M&E contractor Tudor (NW) of Wigan. This range of boilers is available in eight sizes from 120 to 650 kW. Burner options are on/off, high/low and fully modulating. Features include a 3-pass flueway for maximum heat transfer and a choice of low-return tapping configuration to suit the system application. All GN 4N boilers are delivered in sections, and an on-site assembly services can be provided.
