Kingspan pipe insulation supports luxury development

Kingspan, pipe insulation, pipework

Hot- and cold-water pipework throughout the exclusive Fitzroy Place development in Fitzrovia, London W1, has been insulated with Kingspan’s Kooltherm FM pipe insulation — a slimline solution that gave the installers more room to work when fitting the product in tight areas. Fitzroy Place comprises 235 stylish developments, luxury store, a restaurant and top-quality office space.

Kingspan Kooltherm insulated pipe supports were also installed. Independent thermal analysis has shown that these supports can reduce heat loss from pipework by a factor of 10 compared with wooden-block supports.

The two office buildings have received interim BREEAM ‘Excellent’ ratings.

This pipe-insulation is the first to attain BDA Agrement certification under the scheme.
