Glasgow-based electrical contractor WWW has won its first major contract in England with a £5 million commission to upgrade and rewire local-authority houses for Newcastle District Council. The 5-year rolling programme to upgrade social housing is part of the council’s decent-homes project.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
