Award
A Green Apple for Grundfos Pumps — the role of variable-speed pumps in addressing global environmental issues has been acknowledged by the company winning the international category of these awards.
Grundfos Pumps has won the global Green Apple Award for its approach to environmental issues — beating nearly a thousand entries from around the world. The Grundfos submission was based on the company’s entire approach to the environment, but emphasising the difference that variable-speed pumps in particular can make. The international Green Apple Awards are run by the Green Organisation, an independent, non-political, non-profit environmental group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world for the last 11 years. Before winning the international award, Grundfos first won a UK award in the science and technology category, presented by former England cricket captain Allan Lamb in the House of Commons.
