Hitachi launches its first R32 air-conditioning range

Hitachi, air conditioning, VRF, R32

Hitachi’s latest air-conditioning products include its first Summit range using R32 refrigerant. This range of wall-mounted units comprises four units with cooling capacities from 1.8 to 5.0 kW; they also deliver heating.

The Performance and S-Series ranges have also been updated.

The Performance range uses R410A and has been refreshed with three new models — 1.5, 1.8 and 2.5 kW. The new design has 4 way swing, which combines horizontal and vertical airflow to maintain a constant room temperature.

The new S-Series range uses R410A and has infrared remote control. It has an SEER rating of A+++ and SCOP of A++. The ’Constant power’ feature maintains heating capacity with outdoor temperatures as low as -15°C. An eco-sensor detects activity in the room to prevent energy being wasted.
