Fast delivery time wins boiler contract

Ferroli
Replacing coal-fired plant on an educational site in Wigan are these two Ferroli gas-fired cast-iron boilers, each with an output of 590 kW.
The ability to deliver two cast-iron boilers in two weeks, each with an output of 590 kW, led to Ferroli winning a contract to replace three outdated coal-fired boilers at an educational site in Wigan. These gas-fired boilers serve the heating needs of Brookfield High School and Park Centre Teacher Training College. The installation by local contractor Tudor (NW) Ltd, includes a control system to switch off the heating in either building as required. GN4N boilers, as used on this project, are delivered in sections, and an on-site assembly service is available if required. All cleaning and servicing is carried out from the front, so only minimal side clearances are required. They have a 3-pass flueway for maximum heat transfer and high operating efficiency.
