The teams at Watts UK and Watts Martin Orgee have combined forces under the new name Watts Industries UK.
Pipework-fittings specialists Watts UK and Watts Martin Orgee have combined forces under the new name Watts Industries UK Ltd. The complementary businesses will operate as a fully integrated division of Watts Industries Group. Peter McEntee, sales director for the new company, says, ‘Watts Industries made some 12 international acquisitions last year. Our absorption into the group will allow Watts in the UK to take greater advantage of its worldwide resources, enabling us to offer a more diverse choice of quality products to our increasingly varied customer base.’

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
