Pump House rooftop solution

Pump Houe, Woodward & Co

Pump House has supplied Woodward & Co (Environmental) Limited in Gloucestershire with a complete solution for supporting the rooftop building services at a new retail store in Sheffield.

Woodward’s, the mechanical services contractor on the project, had a number of different heavy building services which required specialist support, including a 6000kg plantroom; 6000kg generator; two 4500kg air-handling units; and a 1150kg air-handling unit.

Using its Flexi-Heavy Duty range of supports, Pump House designed and calculated individual frameworks for each item of plant, paying particular attention to ensuring that the correct load management through our frames, back down to the roof finish, was achieved. Pump House also provided step-ups and access platforms to ensure future maintenance can be carried out easily.
