FETA A2L, HFO refrigerants

FETA’s A2L Working Group will run short course on the application of HFO refrigerants at the first IIR International Conference on this topic. The event takes place on 3rd September.

The course is aimed at consultants, designers, contractors, end users and anyone who is likely to use these products now, or in the future.

The workshop will feature an overview of product development, how safety standards apply to their use, and some case studies highlighting what needs to be done in order to comply with regulations.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
