HBOS extends interest in GSH for three years

In an expansion of its successful business partnership, HBOS Plc has awarded George S. Hall a full-service facilities-management control for 1200 of its retail site across England and Wales. The agreement covers the retail branch network of high-street brands such as Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Halifax Estate Agents, Birmingham Midshires and the Clerical Medical Insurance Group. The contract is for three years. Jamie Reynolds, national commercial director with GSH, says, ‘This decision by the UK’s largest mortgage and savings provider increases our HBOS property portfolio to over 650 000 m2. The key selling point was satisfaction with our existing facilities-management delivery over a 4-year period and reflects our strong commitment to customer services and technology innovation.’ In a separate agreement, Intelligent Finance (Scotland), a division of Halifax Plc, has extended its working relationship with GSH with a new 3-year facilities services contract. info@gshgroup.com
