Airedale TurboChiller selected by Artic

Artic Building Services, Olympus KeyMed, Airedale Chiller

Artic Building Services were awarded the contract to replace the existing chiller at Olympus KeyMed. Artic offered a turnkey project to supply and install a new economical Airedale TurboChill chiller which includes a maintenance-free Turbocor compressor

As part of the works Artic safely decommissioned the redundant Chiller and removed the unit from site whilst providing all relevant waste transfer paperwork back to the client. New steel work was erected on the roof and the new Airedale TurboChill Chiller was lifted into position using a specialist mobile crane contractor. A new access platform has been installed allowing easier access to the control/electrical panels of the chiller.

The existing services were connected to the chiller with new pipework, insulation, controls and power cables. Once completed and tested Airedale attended site to undertake a manufacturers commission of the Chiller. The project was successfully handed over to the client along with an operation and maintenance manual with a 12-month warranty period.
