Twin-head pumps have very low power consumption

Pumps
Heating systems of to 1000 kW can be served by Biral’s twin-head P range for a power consumption of less than 50 W.
The Biral range of Mini energy P twin-head pumps consume less than 50 W of electricity to serve a 1000 kW heating system. They can provide duty and standby in one unit and require just two isolating valves, reducing installation cost. There are four sizes from 40 to 60 mm bore. Speed control is delivered by a built-in inverter. The permanent-magnet motors are constructed of Neodyminium. Flow rates are up to 12 l/s with a ?T of 11 K, representing boilers up to 550 kW, or a ?T of 20 K, representing boilers up to 1000 kW. The pumps automatically adapt to variable flow rates and system resistances. There is the choice of constant-pressure control or variable-pressure control, descending as the flow rate decreases. These pumps qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances.
