KoolDuct is best buy for QVC studios

Restricted ceiling space in a control of TV shopping channel QVC led to the use of the Kingspan KoolDuct system.
TV shopping channel QVC has refurbished part of its studios at Marco Polo House in London using the Kingspan KoolDuct system as the best option for the project. The work involves an extensive upgrade of a ground-floor control room, which was enlarged to accommodate to latest transmission technology. A severe restriction on space in the ceiling void led to BHP Consulting choosing the compact and pre-insulated KoolDuct system. David Barker of BHP explains, ‘The lack of space in the ceiling void meant that the multi-zone air-conditioning ductwork system would not be adequately insulated and vapour sealed. This could only be ensured by using the KoolDuct system. Conventional sheet-metal ducting would have fitted too tightly to the soffit and the other ducting to then be covered with thermal insulation.’
