Ductwork bends have tighter radius

Tight bends — and tighter bends — for LindabSafe ductwork
Lindab has introduced bends for LindabSafe ductwork that can be used in tight corners. Standard bends have a centre radius the same as the diameter, compared with an inside radius of 0.6 times the diameter for the BKU range. BKU short-bend components are available from stock as 90° bends in six diameters from 80 to 160 mm. Six more sizes up to 630 mm are available to order. The pressure drop of BKU bends is about 30 Pa for a 125 mm-diameter bend with a flow of 100 l/min, compared with 15 Pa for a standard LindabSafe bend.
